What Stops YOU Being Happy? What Would Make You Happy? What are the things that most people want? What would make you happy? Most of you want a life that is full of love, to be wealthy and to be successful. So why do so many people not feel happy but instead feel lonely, disappointed and depressed?
What Stops You?
The answer is, in short, because you don’t know HOW to make the changes that you need and want and should have. The answer is also simple. You do not understand this very simple rule of life.
If you keep on doing what you have always done, you’ll keep on getting what you’ve always got. Here it is even simpler: If you do exactly the same old things this week as you did last week, you’ll get the same old results this week as you did last week.
And, once more, even simpler: If you drive somewhere and you run into lots of traffic problems, the next time you go there , you try a different road. If this way is quicker and less troublesome, then you use the new road. Or, if you are one of The Happy People, you will look for an even quicker one. You already know that, don’t you? It’s only common sense. But common sense is not that common. People very rarely use it. Or they only use it on little things. If you want big results, YOU have to make big changes. But be aware that, as soon as you start making these changes, your life will start to change in many ways, believe me!

You can use the programme on your own. My first objective is to get a group going locally (for me LOL). If you live within travelling distance of Liverpool, you can look forward to taking part in this part of the plan. You should be enjoying a better life very soon. Mayan Calender, 2012, Is Karma Catching Up?

The Mayan Calender ends in 2012. What does that  mean? Is it the End Of Days? Or a New Beginning? The Mayan Empire reached the peak of its power and influence 1,500 years ago. They are well known for agriculture, pottery, hieroglyphics and  The Mayan Calender for reading the future.. Their empire had crumbled by A.D. 900. The suddenness of it’s break up has puzzled scholars for hundreds of years. I have done much research into my own and many other people’s past lives. This leads me to believe that it was a massive wave of bad karma catching up with events that caused the crash.  Unfortunately the study of people’s past lives can at times be limited. A life span of 28 years, which was the average for those days, will not tell you a lot about an empire that lasted for 600-700 years.
The Mayans were well known for and built their advanced civilisation by being able to predict future events with great accuracy. They did this using The Mayan Calendar. But TheMayan Calendar ends on 21st Dec 2012. This has a much meaning for many people. Particularly people who are interested  in Psychic and/or Spiritual matters. What does it mean? Does this 2012 predict the end of the world? The end of civilisation as we know it? Or does it show the beginning of a whole new enlightened age, just like the Age Of Aquarius. What are your views? PROBLEM
A lot of you exercise because you feel that you should. Or it is part of a weight loss  programme. You do it but you do nothappy doing it. Would you like to learn how to change that exercise grind into a real, full, happy experience? I know that you would.

Just for a moment stop and imagine how much you are going to look forward to your exercise time when you are enjoying it so much. So carry on reading. I am continually advising you to ‘be more physically active to be happy‘  and ‘the fitter you are the happier you are’. There is a link to an article showing  scientific reasons why it is true at the very bottom of this post. If you are not already exercising, this should get you started now.
Stuff That Isn’t In The Article
The article is about jogging, but you don’t have to jog. Some people have problem with their legs if they jog. You can get the same happy, feel-good feedback using other activities. Fast walking, swimming or cycling also work. Some guidelines, which are not given in the article, are:
1) You must be slightly out of  breath. If you are  exercising with a friend, you must not be able to talk comfortably. You cannot keep a conversation going.
2) When you are working at that level of exertion, you should keep it up for about 20 minutes. The first two are rough guidelines but 3) is very important in my experience:
3) You must learn to recognise, absorb and absolutely wallow in the happy feeling. Say to yourself
a) Here it comes!
b) I feel great!
c) I’m really enjoying this!
Some Good Hints!
Learn how, when the time is right, to click the switch and go into a full, happy, flowing exercise  pattern. Here are some more hints. Strolling won’t do it. Any activity will have an effect as long as you can follow guidelines 1) and 2). Twenty minutes is only a rough guide. If you can’t keep the activity up that long, slow down or try a different one. Although I am writing that other activities will work, jogging is the best. that I know. After 12 minutes jogging, I switch over into an altered level. Happy, enjoying and flowing, I can then stop or carry on running. Everybody is different. Experiment with it

Beat Depression With Diet!
The Problem!
If you are reading this article, I take it that you have some issues with depression. This article is not meant for people who are suffering clinical depression.Please see your doctor and then include this diet.
The number of people here in this country suffering from depression is soaring higher and higher every year. In America, students who were signing on to study were profiled. One out of every six was being treated for clinical depression. And these are young and, supposedly, healthy people. The increasing number of people suffering from this is really alarming. .Now I know that you don’t want to feel depressed, so what can you do about it? Here is a simple way to help yourself.
The Solution
Spanish researchers have found a way to stop you from being depressed. You just eat the right food. You have to eat lots of anti-oxidants and omega-3 fatty acids. To do this the researchers recommend more meals rich with olive oil, fruit, whole grains, fish, and nuts. People who eat eat those foods regularly have a 30% less chan ce of developing depression. This is known as the Mediterranean Diet. If you go to any book clearance shop, they will have two or three books about it for about a pound each. Or your local library will have a load of them. Strangely enough it is called the Mediterranean diet because it is the usual diet for people who live in the Mediterranean area.lol.
The Results
It is also recommended as a diet for people who suffer from heart problems or who are overweight. So there you go. Hit your target weight, have a healthy heart and get happier with one simple move. Switch to the Mediterranean Diet. It also includes tomatoes (which the researchers didn’t mention). Tomatoes are full of anti-oxidants.N.B Particularly if they have been pasteurised i.e Tomato Soup, Sauce or Ketchup.
I already eat plenty of the above foods apart from nuts. After reading about this research, I’m going to add some of them.

The Magic Of Meditation! What Can You Do With Meditation? Meditation provides many almost magical methods for changing your life. You can use it to cut down on anxiety, unhappiness and depression. This will make your life happier.You can use it to put power into any self-improvement targets that you are working on, such as weight loss, building intimate relationships or getting wealthy can all be helped by using it It will help you set up, stick at and get what it is that you want.
What Meditation Will Do For You
While you may be using meditation for any of the above or even other purposes, I would like to point out something else of great benefit to you. While you are meditating, and it doesn’t matter why you are doing it, you get the side effects. Here are two of the most important, most beneficial and most powerful side effects:
The Beneficial Side Effects
1) As you meditate, you produce a small but steady flow of hormones that make you feel good. I make use of this effect. If ever I feel problems building up, I increase my mediTation (please note, meditaTion, not mediCation lol). This increases my flow of the ‘happy’ hormones. The ‘happy’ hormones enable me to always be on top of things, to always feel good and always act positively.
2) When you are meditating and producing these ‘happy’ hormones you are living in tune with the Laws of Nature, you are in tune with the Cosmos and you act in harmony with the people around you. This will build a strong flow of good Karma. This will enable you to be even more on top of things, to feel even better and act even positively. This is a positive loop. To always be on top of things, to always feel good and always act positively produces good Karma. Good Karma produces even more of those good things in your attitude to your life Round and round they go,feeding each other. And growing ever stronger. And……….
3) As 1) and 2)are taking place in your life, you will notice something else. Your luck will start to change. You will notice lots of lucky things begin to happen. Good things start appear in your life. This is the good Karma starting to work for you. The good Karmic vibrations, that you are causing, are building up and coming back to you. You Can Be Happy, Here’s Proof!

The article is about scientific research that shows that the stuff we believe in really works. Here are two interesting facts they found to be true:
1) “What’s more, it found people’s personalities were more subject to change than previously believed.”
In plain English, that means that they now realise that you can change your personality i.e you can can change from being downbeat, introverted and unhappy and become happier. Well, we’ve always known that, haven’t we? We know that you can completely change your life around. You can fill it with happiness, wealth and success. If you go about it the right way.
2)Becoming more conscientious, agreeable and open to experience also had positive connections with becoming happier.

More Happiness Through Better Lifestyle!
New Research
Researchers from the Institute for Social and Economic Research, University of Essex, studied five thousand young people between ten and fifteen years of age. They examined their happiness level and the amount of junk food, alcohol and cigarettes they used and the amount of exercise that they did.
What They Found
They found that young people are eating junk food and are starting to use alcohol and cigarettes at an early age.
The results show that young people who never drank any alcohol were between up to six times more likely to be happy than those who reported drinking it.
The number of young people who didn’t smoke and were happy were about five times higher than those did smoke. Higher consumption of fruit and vegetables and lower consumption of crisps, sweets and fizzy drinks were both tied with high happiness. The more hours of sport and physical activity they participated in per week the happier they were.
What This Means
If you cut down on alcohol, cigarettes, crisps, sweets and fizzy drinks, if you eat more friuit and vegetables and exercise more you’ll feel happier, healthier and probably live longer. Happiness? Are You Kidding?
What Are We Here For?
Let’s consider the reason for us being here on Earth. We are here to enjoy life in all it’s many wonders. To do this we must make this a better place to live in. To live a useful life while we are here, we must use all our talent, time and energy to spread the message of Love, Peace and Happiness.
When you read the above, you probably thought: Oh, No! Are you kidding? I have enough trouble getting to work/Or looking for a job/Or sorting out all these rows with my partner. Can’t you sort the world out and fit me into a good position in it?
Now it’s my turn to say: Are you kidding? If I could do that and charge everybody who wanted it £1(U.K), I could get enough cash to buy California. LOL.
It doesn’t work that way. I can’t do it for you, but I can teach you . Nobody can give you Love, Peace and Happiness. You have to create it yourself. So now it’s your turn to say: Are you kidding? I can’t make the whole world a better place to live in.
How Can We Do That
And you are right! That would be a massive job indeed. Just like eating an elephant. But you know the way to eat an elephant, don’t you. One bite at a time. And this is what you will do. In Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) we call this ‘Chunking Down’.What you do is break a big task down into small bite sized pieces. Pieces that you can handle easily. So you can forget about the whole world and even your street and even your house for now. Forget about me doing it for you, forget about you doing it for other people and concentrate on you doing it for yourself. That is a big enough bite for you to chew on. So let’s break it down a bit.
Working On Yourself
Let’s chunk that down further into three bites:
1) Your beliefs. What you believe that you can do.
2) Your attitudes. How you approach things.
3) Your behaviour. Things that you do
Getting Happier
So how do you go about increasing the amount of Love, Peace and Happiness in those three areas of your life. Well, you could start Googling them. The trouble with Googling them is that it takes a lot of time and with the good results you als0 get a lot of rubbish. Then, when you are enjoying your full share of life’s goodies, then, when you have reached the level where you are supposed be, then you can think about changing the world.

Can You Be Single And Happy?

Many, many Psychological studies have been done that show that people who are in relationships are happier, healthier and live longer than people who are single. Here is an article/review about a book that shows the other side of the coin. What the article/book says is that living on your own doesn’t mean that you have to be unhappy. This is very true. I am sure that any single person will get a lot of benefits from reading it.
The article says that some people who are in a long term relationship can be sad, unhappy or lonely. Again this is very true.
This looks like an excellent book with lots of great advice in it. But how about the people who are in bad relationships? What are they to do?
I already have loads and loads (and more loads lol) of blog post about what unhappy people, single or in relationships should do, could do and must do. But what about people who are in relationships and are unhappy?
To answer this question would take more than this article. To find out more you should read this book and study the articles on my blog. You can find help by studying studying meditation, your spirituality, Karma and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP).
NLP has a programme called the Logical Levels. It helps you to understand how to know if you need changes in your life, what changes to make and how to make them. The highest, most important level can be called Spirituality, Your Purpose In Life for or even God. This is where your happiness must be placed. All other levels must be placed below this. You must always be seeking to to increase the amount of happiness in your life and the lives of the people around you. Doing this will make you happier, healthier and build up your good Karma. While you are doing this, you must be sure not to hurt other people. If you do you will cause bad Karma for yourself. This bad Karma could cause you unhappiness, illness and other problems. You must plan carefully to live your life at the highest levels of happiness, health and helping others.
